The Pharaoh Hound, also known as Kelb tal-Fenek, is the national dog of Malta and one of the oldest breeds in the world. Its elegant appearance closely resembles the hunting dogs depicted in ancient Egyptian art thousands of years ago.

This remarkable breed is celebrated for its speed, intelligence, and gentle nature. Traditionally used for rabbit hunting in Malta’s rocky terrain, today it is cherished as a loyal companion.
